No Easy diary task asks for a Hitpoints level in the game. The Hitpoints levels listed on 8 tasks are minimums Boto sets for safety.
Automated means every step has passed offline checks on a members account. It is not a live run: Cook's Assistant is the only quest fully verified in a live game, and no diary task has been played live yet.
How diaries run
- In the quest window, add a whole tier from the Diaries section, or single tasks. Boto runs a tier's tasks in an order of its own for each account, then claims the reward.
- A task that needs a quest you have not finished is skipped. Put that quest in the queue before the tier.
- The reward is claimed once every task of the tier is done, by Boto or by hand.
- Every diary needs a members account. Some tasks use an item you must already hold; each task lists its items.
Account types
- Regular and Ironman
- Every automated task. Ironman accounts never use the Grand Exchange or trading.
- Hardcore Ironman
- 101 of 135 tasks, 10 of them after quests you do yourself. Boto skips every task with a fight or combat food. It also checks each route against monsters that are dangerous at your combat level and Hitpoints, and stops a task with no safe route, so a task marked Yes can still stop on a low-level account. Some tasks need a quest that Boto skips on this account type; do that quest yourself first. To claim a reward, do the skipped tasks of that tier yourself.
- Ultimate Ironman
- Not supported.
Wilderness tasks
13 tasks take place in the Wilderness. They are allowed on every supported account type, with a warning:
- Regular
- The Wilderness is a player-versus-player area. Boto walks out when another player could attack, but it cannot prevent every attack.
- Ironman
- Items lost on a death cannot be bought back. The quest window asks you to confirm before it saves a Wilderness entry, and the confirmation holds only for the account type it was given on.
- Hardcore Ironman
- Any death ends Hardcore status, and the same confirmation is required. Wilderness tasks with a fight or combat food are skipped on this account type, like every other such task.
- Account type not read yet
- Treated like Hardcore Ironman: the warning is the Hardcore one and a confirmation is required. A confirmation saved before Boto reads the account type must be saved again.
- Launched with
-Quest - A quest chosen with the
-Questlaunch option carries no confirmation, so on any Ironman account Boto refuses its Wilderness entry. Queue it in the quest window instead.
